Bibhuti Bhushan Mishra

I am an advocate practising in High Court of Delhi and in other courts of India. I am a law enthusiast who see law as a literature with some palpable applications and which is well capable of changing lives. Academically, I have been a student of commerce throughout. Before pursuing LL.B. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, I have done B. Com(H) from P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi. I have also been a student of Company Secretary (C.S.) in the past. Thus, my natural comfort lies in cases related to contract, commerce etc. I have faith in my writing abilities and am also author of a book titled “Moot Court & Mock Trial: A Practical Exposure”. I love to read, observe, analyze and develop it into a piece of writing. I am fond of public speaking and have presented research papers on various platforms. I compose poems, write articles etc. I feel motivated to explore and acquire new areas of expertise and possess the ability to accept challenges with perseverance, pragmaticism and positivity. Be that as it may, after joining the profession of advocacy, I was perturbed to witness the existing system wherein justice was inaccessible to many. I was unwilling to accept it and thus was imbued with a sense of purpose to make justice accessible to even those for whom it has been a mirage, an illusion. The idea was to render services from the mightiest to even poorest of the poor. I feel Margaret Atwood has said it aptly that, "Never pray for justice, because you might get some." Further I strongly believe in words of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle when he says, "It’s every man’s business to see justice done." Also, Theodore Parker puts it rightly that, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice."
